I let my hands dance to and with the material of water.
The water creates its own performance alongside my movements and reactions to it. This was my first use of fabric as a costume for the water-emphasising the shapes and movement H2O has with the human body and skin. The change from dry to wet confirms a “reveal” moment of the skin underneath. Editing the video with symmetry and echo visual effects cements the patterns made by the water, skin and fabric. The simple repeated sound of the water facilitates the viewer to focus on the morphing of the video-drawing.
