The hollows of the mouth and eyes create circular shapes and the draped fabric over the head creates peaks and troughs. The reflections of the water hint at the shape of the face, slowly revealing itself as the fabric becomes more and more transparent.

After my hands dancing and drawing with water, I became curious as to what this would look like by using my face. I also use fabric as a costume for the water in this video-drawing however the shapes made are very different. This video-drawing encouraged me to explore the idea of a “wet look”.
