“The self is not a wall but more like water” II (5 mins) [Installation]

This is my second version of my piece “The self is not a wall but more like water”.

Bringing the sound piece into a 3d space, I created this installation along with small scale sculptures inspired by water and its naturally made forms.

The sound piece explores my own push and pull relationship with water so this installation enables the viewer to be immersed into our connection.

The sound of the flowing water and the subtlety of the twinkling splash sculptures relaxes the viewer. However the sporadic rhythms of my improvised percussion in the sound piece brings them back to reality.
